Shipping Policy

Effective August 2026

Every order is packed by hand at our shops in the Black Hills of South Dakota and shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which typically arrives within about 3 days of leaving us. We currently ship anywhere in the United States; we are not able to ship internationally at this time.

Processing time

Orders ship within 1–2 business days. During the peak summer season it may occasionally take a little longer — we make everything in small batches, and we would rather send it fresh than fast.

Shipping rates

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on live USPS Priority Mail rates. Orders over $50 ship free. First-time online customers can also use code FREESHIP for free shipping on their first order of any size.

Hot weather

Chocolate and summer are not friends. During hot months we may ship chocolate items with insulated packaging, or hold an order to ship early in the week so it does not sit in a mail truck over a weekend. This can add a day or two, and it is always in the interest of your chocolate arriving the way we made it.
