Beth Buckwalter

Beth Buckwalter is an owner, entrepreneur, chocolatier, confessed chocoholic, speaker, and author of The Guilty Pleasures of Chocolate Therapy.  Many of the recipes at TurtleTown were created by her; others she adapted from favorite family recipes passed down from her mother and grandmother.

She can sometimes be seen in the kitchen at TurtleTown indulging in her favorite pastime…crafting chocolate treats.

Beth has been a long time business owner in the Black Hills area and continues to own Salon One in Rapid City.  She is perhaps best known for her work as personal hairstylist for many Hollywood A-listers and as designer and department head hairstylist for over 35 films.  She has received two Emmy nominations and is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences where she is a past member of the executive board for the hair and makeup branch.
